HRV questions

How often should an HRV be cleaned?

Filters should be checked a few times a year, and a full clean of the core and interior is usually appropriate every one to two years depending on the home.

What is the difference between an HRV and an ERV?

Both exchange stale indoor air for fresh outdoor air. An ERV also transfers some moisture. We service both and identify your equipment during the visit.

Can HRV service be combined with heat pump cleaning?

Yes, and it is the most efficient option. HRV service added to a qualifying heat-pump visit starts at $149 instead of the $249 standalone price.

How we keep the scope clear

Work outside the selected service scope is never performed without your approval. If we find something else, we document it, explain the options, and wait for your go-ahead.
